Born on the Canary Islands, Ramón Purcell has always had a love for photography. After graduating from college, Ramón began working in the surf industry and soon thereafter, began shooting action sports for several years.

Shooting for publications such as Newsweek, Surfer, Surfing, Surfing Girl, Surfers Journal, and Time Magazine.  Ramón then segued into commercial photography, with work including such fields as, architectural, real estate, fashion, food & wine, lifestyle.

Ramón's client list includes sports action companies such as Billabong, Hurley, O'Neill, and Spy Optic, in addition to Hilton Hotels, McDonalds, Omni Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts.  As well as many top name restaurants.

With a wide variety of assignments he has traveled to more than 45 countries across five continents, sharing beautiful and unique images from each excursion.
